No on Prop 50!

Kevin Kiley’s seat (one of the best COVID tyranny warriors and outspoken critic of the governor) is being directly threatened (targeted?) by Prop 50. Many voters in Fresno County, and the Central Valley, will be adversely affected by Newsom’s incredible redistricting proposition as well. Our Vice Chair is getting re-assigned from solidly “red” CD5 (Tom McClintock) to leans “blue” CD21 (Jim Costa) without moving an inch. But one of the biggest areas of voter alienation in the state as a result of Prop 50 is the western Central Valley.

Much of Fresno County is getting removed from Congressional District 13, while just enough of the Bay Area/Sacramento sprawl is getting added to turn the district more likely to have Democrat representation in Congress. This includes Mendota, Firebaugh, and the surrounding communities (as well as the western regions of Merced, Madera and Stanislaus Counties).
