The annual convention/business meeting for the Libertarian Party of Fresno County will be postponed, with date still to be determined. However, members will still be gathering at the previously scheduled time and place for a social and darts tournament.
LP Fresno bylaws dictate that “The Annual Meeting shall always be held up to three (3) months preceding the LPCA Annual Convention.” Previously, the LPCA Annual Convention had been scheduled to take place February 22-February 23, 2025. However, a recent ruling by the LPCA Judicial Committee stated that proper notice had not been given to members of the dates, and that the convention would therefore have to be rescheduled.
Because of this required change of date for the LPCA Annual Convention, we would be in violation of our county bylaws if we held our annual business meeting and officer elections tomorrow (12/21/24).
However, that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy each other’s company! LP Fresno members will still be gathering tomorrow at Yosemite Falls Cafe on Shaw and Blackstone from 11:00am-2:30pm for a social and darts tournament. Come and celebrate the holidays with your fellow libertarians!
