- Call your Senators and members of Congress and urge them to sign onto:
H.Con.Res.38, introduced by Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), would block any unauthorized use of military force against Iran, affirming that only Congress can authorize war.
In the Senate, Sen. Bernie Sanders has introduced the No War Against Iran Act (S.2087), and Sen. Tim Kaine has filed an updated War Powers Resolution (S.J.Res.59)—both of which aim to reassert Congressional authority and urge the President to pursue diplomacy over military confrontation.
- Demand a ceasefire — Contact your senators and representatives today.
- Support diplomacy — Urge backing for renewed JCPOA negotiations.
- Mobilize community pressure — Join or help organize peaceful demonstrations, virtual teach-ins, and public letters to news outlets.
