Position Statement Regarding Taxation and Human Rights Around Marijuana Legalization
The war on this plant is expensive in terms of human suffering and dollars. The government will lose this war, and if any taxation/regulation is acceptable it will have to be reduced by a factor of 10. Otherwise the illicit market will continue to thrive.

Nichols: I Oppose Fresno County’s Measure E
We don’t need the first county sales tax in California history to finance a Cal State University when a more appropriate use of county tax would be to address other issues like homelessness or crime. I absolutely oppose Measure E.
