End War & Genocide: Demonstration & March

This march is sponsored by our friends at Peace Fresno, as well as Palestine Liberation Group, Raza Against War, Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom-Fresno, Veterans For Peace-Fresno, Fresno Center for Nonviolence and Back from the Brink-Fresno. They state:

Additional info for attendees:

• Number of people This depends on what the event’s supporters and sponsors do between now and 3:00 pm tomorrow. If no one does anything more, there will be less that 100 participants. If you each share. invite, or remind others to attend, there will be more than 100 participants – a very good demonstration!

• Ambiance and energy People are upbeat because they know that they are doing something positive to change our country’s misguided policies that bring war and unimaginable suffering to people in other countries.

• Opportunity to meet like minded people There will be time when not marching to introduce yourself to others and ask what brings them to the event.
• Signs and banners available Palestine Liberation Group which has been demonstrating every Saturday for over a year will have their signs. Since this is a multi-issue demonstration Peace Fresno will bring additional signs and banners reflecting other issues.
• For people who can’t march or stand Bring a chair or use a walker with a seat. You will stay at the corner while others are marching. The distance of the march is 0.8 miles.
